Knysna Golf Club presents the Knysna Mens Amateur Open Championship which is sponsored by OCEAN BASKET this year. Come and play 18 holes in the Pre Amble on Friday 9th December and 36 holes on Saturday 10th December 2011. Bookings can be made with Simon on 044-3841150.

HOLLOW TINING OF GREENS

The course will be closed on the 11th October for the hollow tining of the greens. This is done every year and helps to air rate the greens, aleviate the compaction and assists in the growth of the grass.

    Nestled on the shores of the Knysna Lagoon and close to the Heads, the Knysna Golf Club's 18-hole course meanders through tidal pools and between magnificent indigenous trees.

    An interesting parkland layout which has been enhanced over the past ten years, it has some of the best grass greens in the Southern Cape. Although flat and easy to walk, the course still provides players of all levels with a good challenge and is an affordable golfing experience not to be missed while touring the area.
