Function venue

Completely re-built in 2011, Knysna GC boasts one of the most stylish and well-designed clubhouse environments in the Southern Cape.  In addition to a bright, spacious bar area and adjoining terrace, there’s a welcoming halfway house offering all-day meals, snacks and refreshments for golfers and their guests and excellent men and women’s change rooms with ample shower facilities and visitor lockers.

The separate lounge, conference venue and meeting room (with dedicated toilet facilities) are ideal for private and corporate functions. A  large, well-equipped kitchen staffed by a friendly, professional team enables the club to provide high quality catering for every occasion.

Dining room/lounge area.

Perfect for cocktail parties and formal dinners, the area can seat up to 100 diners for formal or buffet-style lunches, dinners or breakfasts and up to 120 people for cocktail parties. The room is also suitable for small exhibitions and practical demonstrations.

Conference room.

In addition to comfortable seating for up to 60 people, the area is equipped with the latest audio/visual presentation equipment including flat screen and big-screen projection and PA system.

Meeting room.

Ideal for small corporate gatherings, the room can comfortably seat up to 10 people in a private boardroom-style environment.

When booking a function our portable PA/music system can be used in any of our function rooms. It is fully wireless and Bluetooth enabled so that you can connect your iPod, iPhone, iPad or any other MP3 player. It is perfect for parties, schools, corporate and educational presentations, seminars, musicians, and weddings.

Bookings

As Knysna GC is a private members’ club and not a public facility, bookings should be facilitated through an existing club member. However, the Club Secretary will be pleased to deal with initial enquiries and provide detailed information.
