On Sunday 4 March the annual Mixed Championship took place at Knysna Golf Club. The format was better-ball medal with over 60 pairs taking part. The weather was perfect for low scoring with warm temperatures and a light breeze. So no surprise that the winning score was 12 under par.
Many congratulations to the winners Zenda and Johan Rautenbach with a score of nett 60.
Runners-up were Sunet Venter and Brian Wabanie with a nett 61. Third place went to Melanie and Phillip Cloete with a nett 63. And fourth place went to last years’ champions Tanya Lightley and Rob Jackson with a nett 63 – an excellent defence of your title!
The next big Club competition is the Men and Ladies individual Championships to be held on 24th March. Good luck to all.
