Club Champs 2022

The combination of ideal weather, excellent organisation, superb course presentation & generous sponsorships made the 2022 Club Championships a truly memorable occasion. Played over two rounds on 26th & 27th March, a full field of 128 members competed for a host of trophies & prizes in three divisions for both men & ladies.

A carnival atmosphere was created from the very start with sponsored gifts, free drinks & refreshments provided before, during & after the competition – plus live music on Saturday evening.

The clubhouse & terrace were packed with members & their families, all eagerly awaiting the prize presentation on Sunday afternoon.

This year’s Ladies’ Champion was long-standing member & previous Lady Captain KJ Redman with a combined gross score of 173 over the two rounds. The men’s championship was won by a new member, Anthony Parker, with a gross score of 142.

Both winners expressed their thanks & admiration for the way in which the championships had been organised. This sentiment was echoed by the Club’s General Manager, Meyer du Toit, who made special mention of the hard work & dedication of the Club’s staff & caddies. This was heartily endorsed by all the members.

The Club is eternally grateful to its main sponsor, PSG Wealth Insure Knysna, who took the opportunity to pledge their ongoing support.

It will be a hard act to follow in 2023!
