The first ever Mixed Club Championships took place on Sunday 5 March. A completely full field of 64 pairs (including some visitors) battled it out to be awarded the new glass salver trophy and hold title of Mixed Club Champions for 2017.
The usual format for monthly mixed competitions is an alliance but the Club decided that what would be fitting for this now annual event would be a more difficult pairs format playing better-ball medal.
Many congratulation to the winners, with a net score of 59, Tanya Lightly and Rob Jackson.
