Course and clubhouse update

Dear Members,

We hope this message finds you well during this challenging weather period.

Course closure

Due to the ongoing heavy rain and flooding, the golf course remains unplayable and will stay closed until Saturday, 16 May. Conditions will be reassessed thereafter, with any further decisions guided by the weather and the recovery of the course. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we prioritise the long-term condition of the course.

Clubhouse reopening
We are pleased to share that the clubhouse will reopen from Thursday, 14 May, with operating hours of 08h00 to 17h00. Office and clubhouse staff will resume their duties accordingly, and we look forward to welcoming you back.

Supporting our caddies
During this difficult period, we are mindful of the impact the closure has on our caddies, who rely on the course for their daily income. As a gesture of support, the club will be providing Food Lovers Market vouchers to each of our permanent caddies (26 in total), to be used specifically for food and essentials. A verified list of permanent caddies is being compiled to ensure the assistance is distributed appropriately.

We thank you for your continued support and understanding. Updates regarding the course will follow as conditions allow.

Kind regards,
Meyer du Toit
General Manager
