We hope this message finds you safe and well during this challenging time.
We have received 280 mm of rain so far, and the impact on our course has been significant. The course is currently closed and will remain so until Wednesday, the 13th of May 2026. We will keep you updated.
The heavy rainfall, combined with spring tide conditions, has caused considerable damage across the course. We have lost a number of trees, and there is widespread debris. Some bridges have been washed away, and the bunkers are flooded. Unfortunately, the spring tide is making it difficult for the water to clear.
One of our members, John Glennie, captured drone footage of the course, giving a clear picture of just how much rain we received in the last couple of days.
| Our dedicated grounds team is working hard to restore the course and clear the damage as quickly as possible. We appreciate your patience and understanding as they do their best to get things back in shape.
In the meantime, the clubhouse remains open from 08:00 to 17:00 for food and beverages. We would love to see you, so please come in, enjoy a meal or a drink, and support the club during this period. |
